It has been my pleasure to serve as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for a second year and I continue to be very proud of the accomplishmehnts that have been made by this Foundation to help make Bedford one of the healthiest communities in Virginia. Its leaders are continually working to identify health-related needs and have championed initiatives to meet those needs. The Board of Trustees has been diligent in its oversight of operations, making sure that the highest standards of fiscal responsibility and transparency are upheld. Thank you for your continued support of the Bedford Community Health Foundation. Your contributions make this good work possible.

In 2010, the Bedford Community Health Foundation received the following revenues:

Investments, Income, Interest………………………………....$ 374,374

Memberships………………………………………………… …$ 23,479

Total Support and Revenue…………………………..……….$ 418,899

Expenditures for 2010 included $126,328 in program services and $150,425 in supporting services. Per the audited financial statement provided by Davidson, Doyle, and Hilton, the Foundation’s year-end net assets were $4,161,200.
